Sewing a 3/4-inch drapery pleat with heavier fabrics is now achievable with the modified head and direct drive technology of the 8100DT. Set the speed and stitch count for the whole package of a quieter, precise sewing experience and outstanding build quality.
Before shipping, each Reliable sewing machine is put through a thorough 10-point quality control procedure with a master technician to ensure that it exceeds our exceptional quality assurance guidelines.
For tacking all types of drapery work, the 8100DT with direct drive technology allows you to set the speed of the machine and the stitch count, offering the whole package. A quieter, precise sewing experience and outstanding build quality.
A chainstitch button-sewing machine uses a single thread to quickly attach most styles of 2- or 4-hole or shank-style (optional) buttons. The machine also comes in a version that is used for tacking pleats on drapery, up to 3/4" in thickness.
The 8100DT includes our custom heavy duty drapery clamp. Through years of experience, our R&D team has created the perfect system for tacking even the heaviest materials up to ¾” thick.
With a simple press of a button, the 8100DT can be programmed for an 8, 16 or 32 stitch count for a more precise and controlled stitch.
The 8100DT direct drive motor allows you to program the speed of the machine. This eliminates unwanted thread burn and allows for a more precise button sewing experience.
Direct drive motors only operate when the foot pedal is engaged, resulting in up to 70% less energy consumption compared to clutch motors.
The perfect add on light is included at no extra charge on this machine making it both, a great sewing machine, and a great value.
Others skimp on the stand components, we don’t. We use only 100% plywood in our tabletops (not cheap particle board) and our legs are made from heavy-duty 3/32" steel.
A good quality chair is indispensable for comfortable and supported sewing sessions, particularly during extended periods of sewing. This is why the Reliable SewErgo (Made in Canada) line of sewing chairs is a perfect choice.
If you prefer to add casters to your Reliable machine, the set of 4 x 1.75 in castors with locking wheels is available as an option that way you can freely move your machine around your working area.
Thanks to the speed control feature, most users find the machine easier to use. Both beginner and advanced sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that require high-speed and precise stitching.
Besides any applicable warranties provided by the Original Manufacturer, Jacksew offers a standalone 90-day limited warranty on defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty covers all the machine parts and labor but any shipping costs must be covered by the customer
Only applies under normal sewing conditions as prescribed for the machine
Consumable items are not covered (needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, springs, oil, and belts)
This warranty does not cover improper use or abuse under heavy use of machines
This warranty does not cover flood, fire, or other acts of nature
If there are any warranty issues that arise, we ask that you contact us immediately and let us know the details. In most cases, we can guide you with getting your machine in good sewing condition via phone, text or video chat.
If you need any parts that need to be replaced, we stock the majority of parts for immediate shipment. Some parts not in stock may have to be ordered from the manufacturer and may take 1 to 2 weeks for arrival.
If there is a critical issue that needs to be addressed and is out of scope of minor adjustments or repairs, we will ask you to send us the machine to our shop so we can have it repaired and have it back to good sewing condition. In most cases, we will only need the machine head shipped to us. Shipping charges - both inbound and outbound - are the responsibility of the customer.
Warranty issues do not arise frequently because of our commitment to assemble, test and verify each machine we ship out to our customers. We will never send you a machine directly from the manufacturer in boxes without knowing that the machine will be ready to operate upon arrival.
