The 5600TW, a large 25 inch longarm two-needle, compound feed machine, comes with the #1 SewQuiet servomotor and synchronizer for needle positioning functionality at no extra cost. With additional features like a safety clutch, upper feed adjustment, and a built-in bobbin winder, it's a highly capable machine for sewing medium to heavyweight leather, upholstery, canvas, and synthetics.
The 5600TW has an 25" arm length from needle to end, which is a workspace large enough to accomodate for most needs of marine upholstery and canvas, as well as any large sewing projects requiring a high sewing allowance.
For sewing leather, upholstery, canvas, and synthetics, the 5600TW offers the whole package. Low noise and vibration design, foot height adjuster, outstanding build quality and reliability, and the industry's #1 DC servomotor.
For medium to heavy-weight materials, it is advisable to use a walking foot machine. Unlike regular machines, a walking foot ensures proper feeding of the fabric. A compound feed walking foot machine the inside foot and the needle move in unison, providing superior feeding capability.
For heavier seam clearance, a step adjustment can be made from a minimum of 2mm to a maximum of 6mm, depending on the number of layers that you will be sewing.
For added convenience, the bobbin winder on the 5600TW is built-in to the front of the machine head.
Convinently cut the bobbin thread with the supplied thread cutter.
The 5600TW has a stitch dial, providing adjustments (0-9 mm) for the length of the stitch as well as a convenient reverse lever for making the perfect back tack.
The 5600TW’s drop-in top bobbin load allows for a smoother, efficient sewing experience.
When running, the oil-window on the top of the head indicates that the machines internal pump system is working.
The needle positioning feature automatically stops the needle in the up or down position, eliminating the need for the operator to manually reach over to turn the handweel. It's also useful when sewing angles, as you may set the needle to be down and rotate the material without losing the stitch, that way you can have continious stitches even when dealing with angles.
